Obituary
JEFFERY LEE HICKS, age 45, a resident of Sikeston, died at 12:09 a.m. Tuesday, July 21, 2009, at St. Louis University Hospital.
He was born February 16, 1964 in Wyatt to the late Jackie and Patricia Jobe Hicks.
He had lived in Bertrand his entire life and had attended Charleston schools. He worked as a carpenter with several area construction companies and had attended the Church of God in Bertrand.
On April 24, 2002 he married Terri Terrell who survives of Bertrand.
Also surviving are one son, Ryan Andrew Lee Hicks of Bertrand; two daughters, Lauren Hicks and Victoria Hicks both of El Paso, TX; one step daughter, Dawn Warren of Bertrand; one brother, Steve Hicks of Charleston; one sister, Marsha Yancey of Sedalia; one step granddaughter, Chelese Warren of Bertrand; also and two nieces and one nephew.
Family and Friends will assemble for Graveside services at the Maynard Cemetery at 1:00 p.m. Thursday, July 23, 2009. Rev. Roger Pendergrass, pastor of the Church of God in Bertrand, will officiate.
Interment will follow under the direction of McMikle Funeral Home.
