JENNY SPICER PARKS, Age 71, died Tuesday, May 24, 2022, at her home near East Prairie.

She was born July 27, 1950, at Jay, Florida, to the late Boston Flet Spicer and Christine Gladys Sasser Spicer.   She lived in Florida a number of years before moving to Maryland where she lived from 1983 until moving to East Prairie in 2017.   Jenny held degrees in nursing and also electronics and had worked as a nurse for a number of years.

In 1998, she married Larry K. Parks, who survives of the home.

Also surviving are her children, John Xavier Ellis and Melissa Ellis; her sisters, Joyce, Janice and Crystal; her grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.  Also surviving is her mother in law and father in law, Judy Scott Sutton and Richard Sutton of East Prairie.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Betty.

Interment will be in her home state of Florida.

McMikle Funeral Home of Charleston is in charge of arrangements.
