Jerome C. Rennier, 77, died Tuesday, July 30, 2019 at his home near Morehouse.  He was born Aug. 8, 1941 in New Madrid County to the late Peter Anthony and Goldie (Wilkerson) Rennier.  A lifelong resident of this area, he was a member of St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church, a veteran of the U.S. Army during the Viet Nam Era, had been a farmer, and worked in sanitation & janitorial services at Malone & Hyde, Himmelberger-Harrison and Missouri Delta Medical Center.

On August 11, 1973 he married Suzanne Crawford in Sikeston and she survives of the home.  Also surviving are 1 brother, Kenneth Rennier of St. Charles; 2 sisters Lillian Rennier of Sikeston and Theresa Mattingly of Champaign, Illinois; and several nieces and nephews.  In Addition to his parents,, he was preceded in death by 1 sister, Joyce Payne, 5 half-brothers and 1 half-sister.

Visitation will be at Blanchard Funeral Chapel from 9:30 am until 10:30 am Friday, Aug. 2, 2019.  A funeral mass will be held at 11:00 am Friday at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church with Fr. David Dohogne, officiating.   Burial will follow at Garden of Memories.   Pallbearers will be James Hann, Mike Rennier, Bobby Rennier, Justin Brown, Jackie Hayes and Jackie Hayes, Jr.   Online condolences may be shared with the family at blanchardfuneral.com.
