IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Jerry
Dyer
November 10, 1933 – December 24, 2023
In loving memory of Gerald Fredrick Dyer, affectionately known as Jerry or JD, who peacefully departed this life on December 24, 2023, at the age of 90. Born on November 10, 1933, Jerry leaves behind a legacy of love and cherished memories.
A devoted family man, Jerry is survived by his three children, Gail Coon (Bob), Rick, and Leslie; four grandchildren, Alecia, Lindsey, Crystal, and Jeri; six great-grandchildren; beloved nieces and nephews; and many friends. His warm presence and caring nature created lasting bonds that will be cherished by all who knew him.
A heartfelt thank you to Karl and LuEllen, Jerry's neighbors and dear friends of the family. They regularly checked in on him and shared precious moments with him. Their kindness added warmth to Jerry's life, and their friendship became a comforting presence in his later years.
Jerry found joy in the simplicity of life, often embracing the outdoors with a passion for hunting, fishing, and water skiing. His love for these pursuits served as moments of shared camaraderie with family and friends.
In 2017, Jerry faced the loss of his beloved wife of 63 years, Bonnie Walker Dyer, a chapter that undoubtedly added strength and depth to his character. Together, they created a foundation of enduring love and commitment that will forever remain in the hearts of those who loved them.
As we remember Jerry, let us celebrate a life well-lived, marked by love, family, and the beauty found in the simple joys of each day. May his spirit continue to inspire us, and may he rest in eternal peace.
A celebration of life will be held a later date.
