Jesse Flack Jr. was born February 8th, 1957, in Turrell, Arkansas to Lila Mae Ross and Jesse C. Flack Sr and passed away suddenly at his home in Charleston, MO, Tuesday, July 22, 2025, In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by one daughter, Jassez Sager and two grandchildren Lily and Noah Adams, two brothers, Benny Leon Ross and Don Andrew Ross one best friend Michael Parker of Charleston, MO.
Jesse Flack lived 68 years, a longtime resident of Charleston, Missouri. He graduated from Charleston high school. Soon after Jesse worked for Charleston public schools for well over 40+ years up until his retirement. While employed by Charleston public schools, he drove bus 11, lead maintenance, and lead custodian for the district for all those years! If anyone ran across any problems, he was the man to call.
Jesse eventually retired from Charleston public schools. But continued to work on his business which was Flack's Garage! He had a love for being a mechanic and working in construction. Jesse was always busy with one of many projects. He quickly became one of the best mechanics in Charleston! Jesse really was a jack of all trades!
Jesse is survived by his daughter Afraica ( Bradford ) Woods of Cape Girardeau, MO, son Saul Sager of Sikeston, MO, one brother Alphonso Ross of Jackson, MO, six sisters Louvennia Farris of Charleston, MO Debra Ann Pasha of Grand Rapids, MI Rose Zetta Ross of Jonesboro, AR Bobbie Joe Ross-Clay of Benton Harbor, MI Angela Mae Ross of Jonesboro, AR Ulanda Renee Clay of West Memphis, AR; Three grandchildren Tyrin Sager of Sikeston, MO Brakia and Bradford Jr. Woods of Cape Girardeau, MO. A host of nieces and nephews; Special cousins: Ronnie Riggens of Charleston, MO, Ann Riggens of Charleston, MO and Ardest Riggens of Sikeston, MO Special friends: Kerry Suggs of Sikeston, MO Mike Parker of Charleston, MO and his Special companion: Karen Flack of Sikeston, MO
Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. until the funeral hour at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, August 2, 2025, at the United Methodist Church, 1700 East Marshall St., Charleston, Mo.
Interment will follow in the Oak Grove Cemetery under the direction of McMikle Funeral Home of Charleston.
