Obituary

JESSIE ANN THURMAN GRAHAM, Age 68, died at 12:45 a.m., Thursday, November 19, 2009 at her home in Charleston.

Born November 4, 1941, at Anniston, MO, to the late Hershal Howard and Frances Carrie Tennessee Johnson Thurman, she had lived her entire life in Mississippi County and was a member of the Diehlstadt General Baptist Church. She loved her church and going to yard sales and looking for antiques.

On April 2, 1962, she married Carroll David "Jake" Graham who survives of the home.

Also surviving are: one son, Michael Howard Meeks of Charleston; one daughter, Retha Ann Moody of Charleston; seven grandchildren, seventeen great grandchildren and also 2 step great grandchildren. Also a number of nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by two sons, David Lee Graham and Marshall Dale Meeks, Jr.; one daughter, Joyce Ellen Thurman; two sisters, Charles Lee Meadows and Jackie Beatrice Borders, one grandson, Marshall Dale Meeks, Jr. and one great grandson, Clayton Levi Meeks.

Friends may call from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Friday, November 20, 2009 at McMikle Funeral Home in Charleston where funeral services will be conducted at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, November 21, 2009. Bro. Dewayne Kirkpatrick, pastor of the Diehlstadt General Baptist Church, will officiate.

Interment will follow in the Anniston Cemetery under the direction of the McMikle Funeral Home.

Pallbearers will be: grandsons, Matthew Dorris, Marshall Meeks, Michael Lee Meeks, David Earl Meeks, Michael Dale Meeks and nephew in law, Duke Presson, Jr.
