JEWELLENE KELSO RUFF, Age 85, formerly of Sikeston, MO, and Addison, IL, died Saturday, July 9, 2022, at the home of her nephew near Naylor, MO, following and extended illness.

Born April 20, 1937, at Aberdeen, MS, to the late Claude Andrew Kelso and Mattie Belle Dodd Kelso, she and her husband lived in Addison, IL a number of years where she was employed as a clerk with Ram Golf and later K-Mart until her retirement.  After the passing of her husband, she later returned to Southeast Missouri, making her home with her nephew and his wife near Naylor in recent years.

On April 26, 1959, she married Joe Ruff, who preceded her in death on October 21, 1998.

Surviving is her nephew, David (Crystal) McNeal of Naylor; as well as other nieces and nephews.

In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Elzie Lee Kelso, and Claude Kelso, Jr.; and her sisters, Sara Lou McNeal, Bessie Lee Kelso, Nelda Kelso and Hazel C. Williford.

Visitation will be from noon until the funeral hour at 2:00 p.m., Friday, July 15, 2022, at the McMikle Funeral Home in Sikeston.  Raymond Nelson will officiate.

Interment will be in the Memorial Park Cemetery at Sikeston under the direction of the McMikle Funeral Home of Sikeston.
