JIMMY BRAZEL, Age 79, died Wednesday, January 03, 2018, at his home in Charleston.
Born August 22, 1938, in Charleston, to the late James Robert "J.R." Brazel and Carmen Remington French Brazel, he was a 1956 graduate of Charleston High School, he had lived in Charleston his entire life and had served in the Missouri National Guard. He enjoyed farming. Of the Baptist belief, he had attended the First Assembly of God Church in Charleston.
On March 27, 1961, he married Aneda Louise Cummins, who survives of the home.
Also surviving are four sons, Kenneth Brazel and Scott Brazel of Charleston and John Brazel and Mark Brazel of Cape Girardeau; one brother, Larry Brazel of Cape Girardeau and two sisters, Patsy Holland of Benton and Pam Ulen of Ullin, IL; one grandson, Jax Bloodworth; one granddaughter, Sandra Brazel.
Family and friends may assemble for graveside services at 1:30 p.m., Thursday, January 4, 2018, at the I.O.O.F. Cemetery near Charleston. Rev. Gerald Penn, will officiate.
Interment will follow under the direction of McMikle Funeral Home.
