Obituary
JO ALMA COMSTOCK, Age 79, a resident of East Prairie, died at 12:13 p.m., Saturday, May 26, 2012 at the Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston surrounded by her children and grandchildren.
Born July 13, 1932, at Bertrand, Missouri, to the late John and Mamie Mae Ellis Davenport, she had lived in Mississippi County most of her life and was a member of the First General Baptist Church in East Prairie.
Surviving is: two sons, William Michael Comstock of Mentor, OH; and Wendell Joe Comstock of Eastlake, OH; two daughters, Sandra Mae Smith of East Prairie and Marsha Lea Poyner of Charleston; one sister, Elzora; ten grandchildren, Joshua Comstock, Sarah Comstock, Laura Stevens, Theresa Comstock, Kim Dawes, Michael Smith, Alicia Smith, Douglas Poyner, Rebecca Byassee and Ryan Poyner; 10 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by 11 brothers and sisters and by one great grandson.
Family and friends may assemble for Graveside Services at the Dogwood Cemetery near East Prairie, Friday, June 1, 2012 at 2:00 p.m.. Buddy Hannah of East Prairie, will officiate.
Interment will follow under the direction of the McMikle Funeral Home of Charleston.
