JO ELLEN DONALDSON MEEKS, Age 57, a resident of Bertrand, died Monday, October 17, 2016, at the home of her sister in St. Charles.
Born September 8, 1959, at Sikeston, MO, to the late Miles Robert Donaldson and Dorothy Joan Parker Miller, she was a 1978 graduate of Charleston High School and was a member of the First General Baptist Church of Charleston. She had lived in Bertrand a number of years.
Surviving is two sons, Joseph Lee (Heather) Meeks of Benton, KY and Jamie Lynn (Kellie Jo Brockman) of Sikeston; four brothers, Robert Donaldson of Park Hills, MO; Timothy Donaldson of Panama City, FL; David Donaldson of Atlanta, GA and John Donaldson of St. Charles; five sisters, Karen S. Bailey of Sikeston; Judy Schmidt of St. Charles; Pattie Thompson and Milesa Curtis of Atlanta and Jackie Lynn Carnell of Sikeston; 8 grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 9:30 a.m. until the funeral hour at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, October 20, 2016, at the McMikle Funeral Home in Charleston.
Cremation will follow with private interment at a later date.
