JO ANN BONE LYONS, Age 71, a resident of Vernon, TX, died on Tuesday, August 11, 2015, in Dallas, TX.

Jo Ann was born February 18, 1944, in Charleston, Missouri, to the late Jack Bone and the late Helen Brown Bone. Jo Ann was a beloved member of the Vernon community. She belonged to the Wilbarger Street Church of Christ where she was an active member until her death. She was a homemaker and a former teacher.

On July 6, 1962, at Broadley, CA, she married Arie Lyons, who survives of the home in Vernon.

Also surviving are her three children, Jeff Lyons of St. Louis, MO,
Gary Lyons of Stephenville, TX and Jennifer Loving of Jersey City, NJ; two brothers, David Bone of McKenzie, TN and Ronnie Bone of South Haven, MI; three grandchildren, Andrew Lyons and Nicholas Lyons both of St. Louis MO. Michael Loving, Jr. of Jersey City, NJ.

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by three brothers, Shirley R. Bone, Jackie Leon Bone, Jerry Bone and two sisters, Margaret Ellen Denbow and Glenda Bone Pierce.

Visitation will be from 9:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m., Monday, August 17, 2015 at the McMikle Funeral Home in Charleston.

Committal services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Monday at the Missouri Veteran's Cemetery at Bloomfield, MO.

Interment will follow under the direction of the McMikle Funeral Home in Charleston, MO.
