Jo Ann Riggs Mills, age 79, of Sikeston, died Wednesday, December 28, 2022, at the Bertrand Nursing and Rehab Center.

She was born October 6, 1943, at Dallas, TX, to the late Kenneth David Riggs and Thelma Estelle Irwin Riggs.  Raised in Dallas, TX, she then lived in Inglewood, CA a number of years, working in the Hughes Aircraft of El Segundo, CA for 15 years.  She then moved to Sikeston to be near her family.

On August 26, 1967, she married Donald G. Mills, who preceded her in death August 21, 2014.

Surviving are her three sons, Stephen Mills, Jeffery (Shelly) Mills and Raymond Mills; and her grandsons, Caden, Jamison and Colton Mills.

She was preceded in death by her siblings.

Graveside services will be conducted at the Mounds Park Cemetery at Lilbourn.

Arrangements are under the direction of the McMikle Funeral Home of Sikeston.
