Obituary

JOSEPH FRANKLIN 'JOE' RILEY, age 78, formerly of Wyatt, died Monday, December 3, 2018, at the Miner Nursing Center.

Born November 7, 1940, in the Birds Point Community of Mississippi County, MO, to the late Frank Riley and Mary Nolen Riley, he had lived in Mississippi County his entire life where he was a farmer and of the Catholic belief.

Surviving are his sisters, Shirley Riley Lashley and Margaret Riley Watkins both of Cincinnati, OH; a special brother in law, Hugh Watkins of Cincinnati; also, a number of nephews, nieces and cousins survive.

Besides his parents he was preceded in death by a special brother in law, Jack Lashley; his brothers, Clifton Riley, Claude Riley and his sisters, Myrtle Laster and Dorothy Fisher.

Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. until the funeral hour at 11:30 a.m., Wednesday, December 5, 2018, at the McMikle Funeral Home in Charleston. Father David Dohogne, will officiate.

Interment will follow in the Calvary Cemetery near Charleston under the direction of McMikle Funeral Home.

Pallbearers will be his nephews, Ronnie Riley, Scott Riley, Bob Whitehouse and Hugh Watkins, III.
