JOSEPH LYNN 'BIG JOE' CARDEN, age 40, a resident of East Prairie, died Sunday, January 3, 2021, at Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston.

He was born February 23, 1980, in Sikeston, MO, to the late Donna Jeanette Carden Sisk and Phillip Douglas Sisk of East Prairie.  Joey lived in East Prairie all his life.  He was loved by many and known for his wonderful personality.  He enjoyed carving wood, playing video games with his nephews and caring for his beloved dogs, Juno and Pattie.

He is survived by his brother, Jason (Merrideth) Carden of Marengo, IA; his sister, Jessica (Joseph) Morgan of East Prairie; and his four nephews, Brayden and Owen Carden and Luke and Jake Morgan; also, a special cousin who was like his brother, Josh Sisk, as well as several aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends.

Private services will be held.

Interment will be at the East Prairie Memorial Park in East Prairie under the direction of the McMikle Funeral Home of Charleston.
