John David Fisher, II, age 31, of East Prairie, passed away Friday, June 27, 2025.

Born November 4, 1993, in Sikeston, MO, to John David Fisher and Terri Lynn Upchurch, John David lived most of his life in East Prairie. He joined the Army National Guard right after high school.  He then decided to make over the road truck driving his career choice following his father's footsteps.

On May 24, 2022, he was united in marriage to Shannon Marie Sparkman, who survives of the home.

Also surviving are his two daughters, Caitlyn Garner and Ilythia Garner; two sons, Jace Fisher and Cayden Fisher; his father, John David (Eris) Fisher of East Prairie; three sisters, Trina (Flynn) Ray of East Prairie; Rocquelle (CJ) Morrison of Marion, IL and Raven Chapman of Pensacola, FL; two brothers, Bobby Byrd of East Prairie and Irvin Swim of Independence, MO; his grandmother, Francine Brady Ivester of Charleston; grandfather, Jeff Fisher of Bertrand; his uncle, Tommy Upchurch of East Prairie; his aunt, Theresa Barnett of  Union City, TN and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

John David was always up for any adventure with his life long best friends, his sister Rocquelle, Barry Ferguson and cousins, Shelby and Josh Counts.  He was the funniest at any get together and the life of the party.

In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by his grandparents, Anna Dean Lowery Upchurch and Tommy Gene "Tootsie" Upchurch.

Visitation will be from 1:30 p.m. until the funeral hour at 3:00 p.m., Wednesday, July 2, 2025, at the McMikle Funeral Home in Charleston. Pastor Jimmy Allen will officiate.

Cremation and private burial will follow.
