Obituary
JOHN ALLEN SYRE, age 49, a resident of Bertrand died Friday, November 26, 2010 at the Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston.
He was born on June 8, 1961 in Sikeston to John Walter Syre who survives of Bertrand and the late Bridgette Patricia Kenney Syre. He had lived in Mississippi County his entire life. Having received a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from Ashworth University, he was employed as a computer technician with Hi/Tech Communications in Sikeston, and also owned and operated Discount Computer Repair in Bertrand.
On February 21, 1988 he married Angelia Dawn Krauss who survives of the home.
Survivors include two daughters and one son in law, Jessica and Corey Higgins and Carla Syre all of Bertrand; one brother and sister in law, David and Karen Syre of Sikeston; one sister and brother in law Patricia and Tim McKinney of Dexter; also one grandson, Korban Higgins of Bertrand.
A Memorial Service is scheduled for 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, December 11, 2010 at the Church of God of Prophecy in Bertrand. Rev. Justin Hayton of Bertrand will officiate.
