JOYCE ANN REEVES WATSON, age 85, died Thursday, October 15, 2020, at her home in Sikeston.

Born July 19, 1935, at Booneville, AR, to the late John Alex Reeves and Myrtle B. Williams Reeves, she had lived in Charleston several years where she was employed at the Brown Shoe Company.   She and her family then moved to Sikeston where she lived a number of years and was a member of the Chapel by the Lake.

On October 8, 1952, she married Clyde B. Watson, who preceded her in death.

Surviving is her daughter, Sheila Watson (Major Morrison) of Sikeston; granddaughter, Lisa Kay Watson of Sikeston; great granddaughter, Chelsea Cross of Sikeston; two sisters, Phyllis Frederick of Sikeston and India Palestine Mathis of Springfield, MO; also, a number of nieces and nephews.

In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Ronnie Clyde Watson; her daughter, Melissa Kay Watson; her brothers, Wayne Douglas Reeves and Gene Alex Reeves and her sisters, Estelle Robey, Juanita May Reeves and Virginia Blagg and her life long friend, Opal Freeland Hahn.

Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. until the funeral hour Tuesday, October 20, 2020, at the McMikle Funeral Home in Charleston.  Nick Simmons, will officiate.

Interment will follow in the I.O.O.F. Cemetery near Charleston under the direction of the McMikle Funeral Home.
