Judith Nan Coffer, 71, formerly of Scott City, died Thursday at Hunter Acres Caring Center in Sikeston. She was born at Anniston Aug. 20, 1943 to the late Henry "Pete" and Justine (Williams) McClendon. She had worked as a machine operator at Brown Shoe Company. She is survived by one son and daughter-in-law, Gary Wayne and Janie Coffer of Altus, Arkansas; one daughter and son-in-law, Sheri and Charles Seabaugh of Oran; two brothers Ronnie McClendon of Cairo, IL and Ricky McClendon of Amarillo, TX; two sisters Kathy Groves of Scott City and Betty Fridell of St. Charles, Arkansas; and by 4 grandchildren.
