Judith Ann Schuerenberg Sullivan, age 94, of Matthews, MO, died Saturday, May 20, 2023, at the Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston.

Born December 29, 1928, at Kewanee, MO, to the late Herbert Ardell Schuerenberg, Sr., and Anna Bizzell Schuerenberg, she was the oldest surviving Schuerenberg in her family as of this time.    A graduate of Kewanee High School, she lived in Sikeston most of her life where she was employed for many years at Sterling Department Store.   In 1977, the family moved to Matthews where she was the oldest living member of the Missionary Baptist Church.

On July 31, 1948, she married Odis Odell Sullivan, who preceded her in death June 10, 1995.

Surviving are her daughters, Connie Sullivan Robertson of Neosho, MO and Linda Sullivan (Larry) Lynn of Matthews; her grandchildren, Andrea (Scott) McMillen, Steven (Nicky) Lynn, Christopher Robertson and Shilah (Eric) Robertson, her brother, Dick Schuerenberg; her sisters, June Roberts, Ellen Bond and Joy Householder; seven great grandchildren and five great great grandchildren; also, a number of nieces, nephews and other relatives.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sons, Michael Odell Sullivan and Odis Dwayne Sullivan; her son in law, Patrick Allen Robertson; her daughter in law, Shelby Sullivan; her brothers, Bobby, Ralph, G. Spike, and Herbert A. Schuerenberg, Jr., and her sisters, Jane Young and Betty Schuerenberg.

There is no public visitation.

Graveside services will be conducted at noon, Wednesday, May 24, 2023, at the Matthews Cemetery in Matthews, MO.  Chris Polk will officiate.

Interment will follow under the direction of the McMikle Funeral Home of Sikeston.
