JULIA FRANCIS BUTLER, Age 79, a resident of Charleston, died Saturday, November 28, 2009 at the Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston.
She was born November 2, 1930, in Corning, Arkansas to the late Herbert St. Cin and Bessie Hogan. She had lived in Charleston most of her life.
On December 11, 1948, she married Jewell (Tuffy) Harris. He preceded her in death on August 5, 1986. She married Marion Butler on December 26, 1979. He preceded her in death on January 19, 2003.
Surviving are: two sons and daughters in law, Stanley and Pam Harris and Mike and April Harris all of Sikeston; one brother Earl St. Cin of Florida; one sister, Freda Smith of Charleston; four half sisters, Jo Palmer of Charleston; Brenda Cohen of Vanduser; Jan Pulliam of Essex and Ann Tidwell of Canalou; six grandchildren; twelve great grandchildren; and her loving dog, Benjie.
She was preceded in death by one son, David Jewell Harris; one grandson, Joshua Rebel Harris and one brother, Ralph St. Cin.
Visitation will be from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Tuesday, December 1, 2009 at the McMikle Funeral Home in Charleston where funeral services will be conducted at 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, December 2, 2009. Jon Archie, pastor of the Elm Street Baptist Church of Charleston, will officiate.
Interment will follow in the Oak Grove Cemetery near Charleston under the direction of McMikle Funeral Home.
Pallbearers will be: Stanley Harris, Mike Harris, Nathan Harris, Shane Revelle, Brandon Revelle and Paul Harper.
Honorary pallbearers will be: Danny Morehead, Paul Wayne Krauss and Skyler Harper.
