Obituary

JUNE BROWN LEFFLER, Age 77, a resident of Wyatt, MO, died Thursday, January 13, 2011 at the North Care Hospice House in North Kansas City, Missouri.

Born March 10, 1933, at Blytheville, AR to the late Wallace Franklin and Vera Jeff Houston Brown, she was a lifelong resident of Wyatt and was employed at the Brown Shoe Company in Charleston until her retirement. She was loved by her family and will be missed by all.

Surviving are: one son, John Leffler of Paducah, KY; one daughter, Carolyn Fischer of Liberty, MO; five brothers, Harold Brown and Kevin Brown of Wappapello, MO; Larry Brown of Charleston; Justin Brown and Mark Brown both of East Prairie; two sisters, Wanda Cogdill of East Prairie and Betty Carrington of Malden, MO; five grandchildren, Stephanie Pitman, Michelle Dickerson, Robert D. Fischer, II; Amanda Futrell and Matt Leffler; also 6 great grandsons.

She was preceded in death by one sister Connie Riley and one great grandson, Anthony Victor Fischer.

Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. until the funeral hour at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, January 15, 2011 at the McMikle Funeral Home in Charleston, MO. Kenneth Gibson, pastor of the New Covenant Pentecostal Holiness Church in Wyatt, will officiate.

Interment will follow in the I.O.O.F. Cemetery under the direction of the McMikle Funeral Home.
