Karen Tidwell Crenshaw Dowling, age 82, of Eads, TN and formerly of Caruthersville and Sikeston, MO, died Friday, July 18, 2025, at the Baptist Reynolds Hospice House in Collierville, TN.

Karen was born August 19, 1942, at Sikeston, MO, to the late Roy Elvis Tidwell and Mary Lucille Cox Tidwell.

She is survived by her husband of over 52 years, Melvin Copeland Dowling of Collierville, TN.

Additional survivors are their children, Chris (Missy) Crenshaw, Christy Counce, Chance (Cheryl) Dowling, Renee Dowling Halterman and Dustin Dowling; nine grandchildren, nine great grandchildren; one sister, Pamela (Bill) DeLine, as well as nieces and nephews

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son in law, Eric Counce.

A private interment will be held at the I.O.O.F. Cemetery in Charleston, MO.

In lieu of flowers the family request memorials be give to First Presbyterian Church, 701 Carleton Ave., Caruthersville, MO, 63830.
