Karen Sue Miller

August 24, 1953 — February 13, 2026

Wickliffe, Kentucky

Karen Sue Miller, age 72, beloved wife of Kenny Miller, formerly of Wyatt, MO and Blytheville, AR, passed away peacefully at home on Friday, February 13, 2026, in Wickliffe, Ky.

Karen was born in Charleston, MO on August 24, 1953, to Houston Odell Adams and Mary June Wagner Adams. She was a graduate of Charleston High School.

Karen worked at Brown Shoe Co in Charleston for many years. She relocated to Blytheville AR in 1996 where she worked at Walmart until her retirement in 2018.

On Dec, 31 1999, Karen married the love of her life Kenny Miller, and they shared a life full of love and adventure.

For those who knew her as Myrtle, know that she was feisty, stubborn, outspoken and as vibrant as one could be. She unapologetically said whatever was on her mind at any given moment, which kept her loved ones on their toes. One thing was for certain about Karen, her love knew no boundaries.

Karen is survived by her husband Kenny Miller of the home; a daughter, Heather (Laster) Chamness (Randy) of Wickliffe Ky, stepdaughter, Emily Miller of Sikeston Mo. and her brother, Steve Adams of Fulton, MO. Grandchildren, Lindsey Chamness (Austin) of Cape Girardeau, MO, Rj Chamness of Wickliffe, KY, Kenzie and Dawson Loomis of East Prairie, MO. She also leaves behind a very special nephew Zach Adams (Debra) of Fulton, MO. 4 nieces and 2 nephews. She also leaves behind her very spoiled fur babies Hershey, Blu, Dora and Rosa.

Karen was proceeded in death by her parents Mary June and Houston Adams, two brothers, Terry and Neil Adams and her cherished fur babies Coco, Doc and Wego.

Her collection of Fenton glass was a reflection of her love for color and beauty, bringing sparkle and joy to her home. Karen was also a woman who loved to have options when it came to jewelry and handbags, specifically Brahmin bags, which reflected her vibrant spirit.

Karen was infamous for spoiling her daughter and grandchildren, treating them to endless affection and love. Her greatest joy was her family, whom she loved more than anything else in this world and supported passionately.

Visitation will be from 12:30 p.m. until the funeral hour at 1:30 p.m., Friday, February 20, 2026, at the McMikle Funeral Home in Sikeston. Kenneth Gibson of Wyatt will officiate.

Interment will follow in the Garden of Memories Cemetery at Sikeston under the direction of the McMikle Funeral Home of Sikeston.
