Karen Denise (Burton) Milligan, 56, a resident of this area most of her life, died at her home Sunday, Feb. 15, 2015. She was born Sept. 26, 1958 at Cairo, Illinois to Dorothy Merle (Cook) Burton, who survives of the home, and the late William Earl Burton. She was a licensed practical nurse and had worked in ICU at Missouri Delta Medical Center, at several area nursing homes, and for Allen's Private Duty Nursing. Besides her mother, she is survived by one daughter, Maleasha Burton and one son William Burton both of the home; 3 sisters, Rayma Holstein of Olney, Illinois, Lisa (Burton) Stone of Sikeston and Pamela (Burton) Bynum of Carrier Mills, IL. Four grandchildren, Erika Viverette and Caleb Wyman both of Lilbourn and Katie & Karie Burton of the home. Visitation will be held from 2:00 pm until time for memorial services at 3:00 pm Saturday, Feb. 21, 2015 in the Blanchard Funeral Chapel with David Parr officiating.
