Obituary
KAREN ELOISE MOORE WRIGHT, Age 67, of Charleston, died Thursday, September 21, 2017, at the Charleston Manor.
Born February 9, 1950, at Charleston, to the late Byrd Thomas Moore and Willie Finley Traylor Moore, she had lived in Charleston most of her life and was of the Baptist belief.
She was married to James Adam Wright, Sr., who preceded her in death December 1, 1997.
Surviving are two sons, James Adam Wright of Bement and Randy Wright of Charleston; two daughters, Donna Haley and Tammy (David) Patrick of Charleston; one brother, Kenneth Moore of Matthews; 10 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. Also her special friend, Tommy Johnson of Charleston.
Besides her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by one infant son; two brothers, Bobby Moore and Donald Lynn Moore; and three sisters, Ruth Alene White, Lamona Moore Jorgan, and Martha Hopper.
Visitation will be held at the McMikle Funeral Home on Wednesday, September 27, 2017, from 1:00 pm until the Memorial Service at 2:00 p.m. Rev. Tom Godwin, pastor of the New Life Apostolic Church of Bertrand, will officiate.
Interment will be at Oak Grove Cemetery near Charleston under the direction of McMikle Funeral Home in Charleston.
