Obituary
KARLA JEAN WALKER, Age 54, died Friday, January 10, 2014, at her home in New Madrid.
Born June 19, 1959, at Sikeston, MO, to the late Charles Walter and Mary Virginia Ledbetter Weakley, she had lived in Southeast Missouri most of her life and for a few years lived in Tupelo, Mississippi.
On December 2, 1976, she married Russell L. "Rusty" Walker, who survives of the home in New Madrid.
Also surviving are two daughters, Tracy Walker and Teresa Walker both of Tupelo, MS; three brothers, Donald Weakley of Bertrand; Harvey Weakley of Bonne Terre, MO and Jimmy (Linda) Weakley of East Prairie; one sister, Linda (Jimmy) Sparks of Wyatt; six grandchildren, Jaden Walker, Jacie Mudro, Alexa Mudro, Brendon Mudro, Destiney Castille, Selina Valencia and Lydia Valencia.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by three brothers, Jerry Weakley, Larry Weakley and David Weakley and by one sister, Mary Charlene Weakley.
There is no visitation.
Graveside services will be conducted at 10:00 a.m., Monday, January 13, 2014, at the Oak Grove Cemetery near Charleston. Martin Lucas of East Prairie, will officiate.
Interment will follow under the direction of the McMikle Funeral Home of Charleston.
