Katherine Elaine Boyet Pearson, age 79, of Sikeston, MO, passed away peacefully, Friday, December 12, 2025, at the Bertrand Nursing Center, Bertrand, MO, surrounded by her loving family.

Born April 23, 1946, at Spokane, WA, to the late Raymond Boyet and Mary Bouser Boyet, she had lived in Southeast Missouri most of her life, first in Marston and later in Sikeston.  For many years she was a private duty home health caregiver and was a faithful member of The Potters House near Sikeston.

On September 6, 1991, she married Namon E. Pearson, who survives of the home.

Also surviving are her children, Joanie (Troy) Karlish of Malden, MO; Laconda Walker of Tuscon; her stepchildren, Rejeania (John) Givens and Teresa Countz both of Sikeston; Terrie Waldrop of Tiptonville, TN and a number of grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.   Additional survivors include her brothers, Clyde (Janie) Boyet of St. Louis and Donnie Boyet of Portageville; her sisters, Bonnie Abney of Poplar Bluff, Judy Bader of Glennonville, MO and several nieces, nephews and extended family members

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Joey Walker and her stepson, Namon Lynn Pearson, stepdaughter, Yvonne Turner.

Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. until the funeral hour at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, December 17, 2025, at the McMikle Funeral Home in Sikeston.  Her son in law, John Givens, will officiate.

Interment will follow in the Garden of Memories Cemetery at Sikeston under the direction of the McMikle Funeral Home of Sikeston.
