Obituary
KATHLEEN HERWIG SECOY, age 62, died Monday, November 3, 2014, at her residence in Charleston.
She was born June 12, 1952 in Cairo, IL to the late Harry and Helen Council Herwig. She had lived in Charleston her entire life where she was a 1970 Charleston High School graduate, and had worked 37 years in the office of Dr. Gregorio Rodriquez. She was a member of Victory Baptist Church in East Prairie.
On April 7, 2007 she married Larry Secoy who survives of East Prairie.
Also surviving are two sisters and one brother in law, Harriet Small of Charleston and Katherine and Johnny Leffler of Paducah, KY; two nieces, Shelia McGill and Amanda Futrell both of Paducah, KY; two nephews, Kevin Small of East Prairie and Matt Leffler of Paducah, KY; also 7 great nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by one great niece, Kaelyn McGill.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, November 6, 2014, at the McMikle Funeral Home from 12:30 p.m. until the Memorial Service at 2:00 p.m. Rev. Steve Johnson, pastor of the Victory Baptist Church in East Prairie, will officiate.
Interment will follow in the IOOF Cemetery under the direction of McMikle Funeral Home.
