Edna "Kathryn" Higdon, 94, died Thursday, March 8 at her home in Sikeston. She was born April 13, 1923 in Parking, Arkansas to the late Clay and Dell (Cooper) Higdon. A resident of the Sikeston area most of her life, she was a member of Potter's House Ministries. She had worked in St. Louis in packaging for the F. B. Chamberlain Company and later in nursing at Shuffitt's Nursing Home on Ruth Street in Sikeston. She is survived by 2 brothers, Jerry Higdon and James Higdon, both of Sikeston an 1 sister, Willie Higdon also of Sikeston. 3 Nephews and 2 Nieces also survive. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by 3 brothers, Franklin, Johnny and Cecil Higdon an by 2 sisters, Annie Higdon and Inez (Higdon) Nolen. Visitation will be at Blanchard Funeral Chapel from 11:00 am until time for services at 1:00 pm Saturday, March 10. Rev.
