ETHEL KATHRYN VINSON, Age 80, formerly of Charleston, died Wednesday, January 25, 2012 in Shelby Township, MI.
Born January 28, 1931, in the Crosno Community of Mississippi County, MO, to the late Claude Walter and Marie Hutson Housman, she had lived in Shelby Township a number of years and was of the Pentecostal Faith.
On June 24, 1950, she married Sylvester Vinson, who preceded her in death May 23, 2000.
Surviving are: three sons, Clifford Vinson of Marion, IL; James Vinson of Columbia, TN and Ricky Vinson of Algonac, MI; three daughters, Ethel Frieda Pringle of New Balitmore, MI; Joyce Vinson of Franklin, TN and Karen Milton of Shelby Township, MI; three sisters, Norma Faye Holt of Highland, CA; Delma Jean Holt of Redlands, CA and Sharon Fernandez of Arlington, KY; also a number of grandchildren and great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by one daughter, Janice Marie Vinson and three brothers, Bruce Housman, Albert Lee Housman and Claude Housman, Jr.
Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. until the funeral hour at 1:00 p.m., Monday, January 30, 2012 at the McMikle Funeral Home in Charleston. Rev. Walter Bryars of East Prairie, will officiate.
Interment will follow in the Oak Grove Cemetery near Charleston under the direction of the McMikle Funeral Home.
