Kevan Aldo Beck, 66, died Saturday, Aug. 19 at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau. He was born May 27, 1951 in St. Louis to the late Woodrow and Gwen (Coots) Beck. A life-long resident of this area, he was a member of First Baptist Church of Sikeston and the V.F.W. in Chaffee.
He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy during the Viet Nam War and had been a farmer and truck driver. On November 18, 1977 he was married to Dixie Lee Booker in Sikeston and she survives of the home. Also surviving are 1 son and daughter-in-law, Jeffery and Samantha Beck of Fruitland and 1 daughter and son-in-law, Megan and Craig Myer of Sikeston; 1 brother Allan Beck of Wheaton, Illinois and two grandsons, Kale Myer and Oliver Beck. Graveside rites will be held at 2:00 pm Tuesday, Aug. 22 at the Missouri State Veterans Cemetery at Bloomfield with Rev.
