Lamont Lewis

Rick Lamont Lewis, age 44, of Sikeston, died Monday, March 28, 2022, at the St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.

Lamont was born June 4, 1977, in Sikeston, MO, to the late Randle Lewis, Jr. and Emma Head Lewis and had lived in Sikeston his entire life.   He had been employed with Sikeston Public Schools a number of years.  A longtime member of the Shady Acres Church of Christ, he was considered family by its members and was active in all aspects of the life of the church.

Surviving are his brothers, Rick J. (Ashley) Lewis Sr. of Sikeston and Anthony Lewis and Recole Lewis of Cape Girardeau; his sisters, Annette Strickland of St. Louis; Angela Lewis, Latequa Moore and April Sales all of Sikeston and Mecole Lewis of Cape Girardeau; also, a host of nieces and nephews; great nieces and great nephews; an uncle, several aunts, cousins and many friends.

Visitation will be from 4:00 p.m. until the funeral hour at 6:00 p.m., Tuesday, April 5, 2022, at the Shady Acres Church of Christ in Sikeston.

Interment will be private.
