LANEY MICHAEL MILLER, 65, died Friday, March 27, 2020, at his home in Diehlstadt.
Born October 31, 1954, at Wyatt, MO, to the late J.W. Miller and Evelyn Johnson Miller, he had lived in Diehlstadt his entire life. A 1973 graduate of Kelly High School and had been employed with Monsanto at Matthews. He loved country drives looking for deer, fishing, playing cards (pitch), and dominoes. He loved drinking cold Stag, telling stories, laughing and enjoying life.
Surviving are his daughters, Carrie Miller (David) Haynes of Dexter and Rachel Miller (Cory) Berry of Jackson; grandchildren, Hannah Haynes (Michael) Hale and Shelby Haynes and Madelyn Haynes of Dexter and Conner Berry and Caden Miller-Berry of Jackson; one great grandchild, Memphis Hale of Dexter. Also, a number of aunts, uncles and cousins.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
McMikle Funeral Home of Charleston is in charge of arrangements.
