LANORA SKINNER MITCHELL HAM, 88, formerly of Wickliffe, KY and Charleston, MO, died Wednesday, January 1, 2020, at the Chaffee Nursing Center.

Born January 6, 1931, at Charleston, MO, to the late James Doris "J.D." Skinner and Ella Gertrude Terrell Skinner, she had lived in Charleston and Ellsinore most of her life where she was a member of the Bellevue Baptist Church. She owned and operated a consignment shop in Charleston a number of years.

In 1947, she married Vernon C. Mitchell, who preceded her in death March 12, 1971. On February 3, 1973, she married Lynn D. Ham, who survives.

Also surviving are her daughters, Tina (Robert) McKendree of Wickliffe, KY; Linda Carter of Doniphan and Susan Ham of Ellsinore; her sons, Stanley (Mischelle) Mitchell of West Paducah, KY; Ted (Celina) Ham of Texas and Ron (Jeannie) Mitchell of Sikeston; her brothers, Joe (Roena) Skinner of Paducah, KY and Donnie (Cathy) Skinner of Kevil, KY; sisters in law, Sue Skinner of O'Fallon, MO and Judy Skinner of Sikeston; a number of grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren; also several nieces, nephews and cousins.

In addition to her first husband and her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Anita Ham; sons, Larry Mitchell, Dale Mitchell, Samuel Ham and Jeffrey Ham; brothers, Ed (Sue) Skinner) David (Norma) Skinner, Mike Skinner, Russ Skinner; sister, Ruth Ellen (Billy) Crenshaw; Barbara (Barry) Newton.

Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. until the funeral hour at noon, Friday, January 3, 2020, at the McMikle Funeral Home in Charleston. Rev. Joe McCullough, pastor of Murray Lane Baptist Church, and her son, Ron Mitchell, will officiate.

Interment will follow in the Oak Grove Cemetery under the direction of the McMikle Funeral Home.

Pallbearers will be: Brandon Throgmorton, Charles Mitchell, Nicholas Struble, Tuffy Skinner, Davey Skinner and Kevin Skinner.
