Larry Wayne Bowles, age 69, died Sunday, October 6, 2024, at his home in Charleston.

Born November 8, 1954, at Wyatt, MO, to the late Frank Junior Bowles and Mae Marie Passley Bowles, he had lived in Mississippi County most of his life and was a member of the New Bethel Baptist Church near Charleston.   He was employed with Gates Rubber Company for over 27 years until he retired.

On May 25, 2005, he married Renissa Kay Nunn, who survives of the home.

Also surviving are his children, Shannon Wayne Bowles, Tim (Heather) Hill and Heather Nunn (Joey) Sanders; several grandchildren and several great grandchildren; also surviving is his brother, Steve (Diane) Bowles; and nieces, nephews and many cousins.

In addition to his father and mother, he was preceded in death by his brother, Sam Passley.

Visitation will be from 1:00 p.m. until the funeral hour at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, October 9, 2024, at the McMikle Funeral Home in Charleston. Bro. Jimmy Allen and Mitch Pullen will officiate.

Interment will follow in the Oak Grove Cemetery under the direction of the McMikle Funeral Home of Charleston.

Pallbearers will be Greg Nunn, Tim Hill, Trev Bowles, Cody Bowles, Bobby Bowles and Dave Tucker.
