LaVONDA JEAN PAYNE, Age 65, a resident of Charleston, died Sunday, March 19, 2017, at the St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.
Born January 6, 1952, at Charleston, MO, to the late Robert Bradley and Allie Inez Dillie Bradley Brown, she had lived in various places throughout the country and returned to Charleston in 2010.
On August 5, 1977, she married Lanny Raymond Payne, who preceded her in death September 3, 1993.
Surviving is her life partner of 25 years, Larry Ray Jones, Sr. of Charleston; two daughters, Penny Leigh (William) Rosado of Millersville, MO and Mary LaVonda (Willie) Jackson of Cape Girardeau; one step son, Larry Ray (Lana) Jones, Jr. of Charleston; one stepdaughter, Misty Jones of Charleston; one brother, William "Bill" Bradley of Charleston; three sisters, Mary Inez Garrett, Edith Boyd and Ann Rosson all of Charleston; 8 grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
Besides her mother and father, she was preceded in death by one daughter, Jamie Annette Knupp and her stepfather, Thomas Roy Brown, Sr., and three brothers, Danny Bradley, James Bradley and Thomas Roy Brown, Jr.
Visitation will be from 3:00 p.m. until time for the memorial services at 4:00 p.m., Saturday, March 25, 2017, at the McMikle Funeral Home in Charleston. Kevin Sexton, will officiate.
