Lawrence Woodrow Graham

Lawrence Woodrow Graham, age 73, of formerly of Matthews, MO, died Tuesday, July 7, 2026, at the Crowley Ridge Care Center in Dexter, MO.

Born February 1, 1953, at Lilbourn, MO, to the late Thurman Walter Graham and Minnie Louella Houchin Graham, he had lived in the Sikeston area most of his life and was a former member of the Sikeston Eagles Club. For most of his life he worked in farming and carpentry.

On November 17, 1974, he married Doris Ann Cooksey Coats, and she preceded him in death on February 25, 2020.

Surviving are his children, Michael Staggs, Tonya Michelle McWhirter and Larry Ray “Slick” Graham; his grandchildren, Debbie, Justin, Stephanie, Makala, Lauryn, Caitlyn, Abigail, JoCee; great grandchildren, Jaden, Jordyn, Kasen, Bryson, Karleigh, Kazzlyn, Waylon, Rinni, Hadley; his siblings, T.W. Graham, Mary Pick, Judy Reynolds, Pauline Brock and Edna Bradshaw; also, a number of nieces, nephews and cousins.

In addition to his wife and parents, he was preceded in death by his siblings, Albert Graham, Dennis Graham, Clay Graham, Don Graham, Nadine Graham, Frances Henson and Katherine Marie Green.

Visitation will be from 11:30 a.m. until the funeral hour at 1:00 p.m., Tuesday, July 14, 2026, at the McMikle Funeral Home in Sikeston. Rev. Billy Davis will officiate.

Interment will follow in the Garden of Memories Cemetery at Sikeston under the direction of the McMikle Funeral Home in Sikeston.

Pallbearers will be his grandchildren.
