Lennie C. Halbig, 92, died March 26, 2014 at the Clearview Nursing Center.  She was born Jan. 25, 1922 in Vanduser to the late James T. and Pearl (Hamilton) Carter.  On July 4, 1951 she was married to Ralph Halbig in Nashville, Illinois and he preceded her in death in 1959.  She was a homemaker and a member of the Catholic Church.  She is survived by 1 son, Mark Halbig of Columbia, Maryland and by one special friend, Leeroy "Butch" Abernathy of Morley.  She was preceded in death by 4 brothers and 1 sister.
