Leora Magdalene Plunk Adams, age 100, of Sikeston, MO, died Friday, October 3, 2025, at the Delta South Skilled Nursing Center in Sikeston, MO.

She was born August 25, 1925, at Adamsville, TN, to the late Rufus William Plunk and Jessie Franklin Gladish Plunk. She was married to Delmer Adams who preceded her in death.

When she was 10 years old, the family moved to Missouri from Tennessee.  She was a homemaker and loved to garden and was a member of the Oneness Pentecostal Church in Morehouse.

Surviving are her two sons, Don (Terri) Adams and Jerry (Suzan) Adams; her daughters, Barbara (Dan) Robinson and Debbie (Greg) Baker; her 11 grandchildren, Kevin (Heather) Adams, Keeley (Matt) Bolen, Tanya (Danny) Hutton, Dee (Kim) Adams, Paul (Tina) King, Daniel (Kiley) Adams, Marshall Adams, Adam (Chrissy) Baker, Drew King, Scott Baker, Susan Baker; 19 great grandchildren, Ashlen (Cameron) Vogelsang, Addison (John) Gaylor, Austin Adams, Makayla (Ethan) Clark, Peyton Evans, Chloe Evans, Aleah Shackles, Drake Baker, Zane Baker, Gabrielle Simpson, Andrew Kaufman, Mattie Bolen, Tristan King, Ty King, Landyn Adams, Keaton Adams, Wesley Adams, Presten Adams, Lexi Adams; four great great grandchildren, Lila Gaylor, Molly Gaylor, Ember Vogelsang and Ayla Vogelsang; as well as a number of nieces, nephews and cousins.

In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers and sisters, Burnice, Roscoe, Claude, James, Lois, Rea and Viola.

Visitation will be from noon until the funeral hour at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, October 8, 2025, at the McMikle Funeral Home in Sikeston. Pastor Jimmy Vent will officiate.

Interment will be at the Missouri State Veterans Cemetery alongside her husband, Delmer.

In lieu of flowers, plants and gift items, the family kindly requests memorials be made to the Kenny Rogers Childrens Center, 300 Floyd Ave., Sikeston, MO 63801.
