Lester Leo Heuring

LESTER LEO HEURING, age 84, of Sikeston, died Sunday, December 6, 2020, at Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston.

Born January 13, 1936, at Chaffee, to the late Gregor and Altha Heuring, he had lived in Sikeston most of his life and had been employed with Wood Truss Manufacturing.

Surviving are his children, Lesa Darcy, Paul Hyde, and Shelia Bowles all of Diehlstadt; Marsha Jones of Tulsa, OK; Vickie Pemberton of Andrews, TX; Michelle "Shelly" Brewer of Midland, TX and Chris Heuring of Charleston; his brothers and sisters, Lawson Heuring, Willis Smith and Vene Johnson all of Sikeston; Jerry Ruff and Bill Heuring of Salcedo and Barbara Brown of Morley; ten grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, William Myers and sister, Mary Robinette.

Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. until the funeral hour at noon, Thursday, December 10, 2020, at the McMikle Funeral Home in Sikeston. Rev. J. Robert Webster, Pastor of the United Methodist Church of Charleston, will officiate.

Interment will follow at the Memorial Park Cemetery at Sikeston under the direction of the McMikle Funeral Home of Sikeston.
