Linard Jerome Thomas, age 42, entered into his Eternal reward, Sunday, July 14, 2024, in Cape Girardeau, Missouri.

Born August 24, 1981, at Charleston to Annie Margaret Thomas and Jerome Bell, of Charleston.  Also surviving is his brother, Chedowry (Tiffani) Thomas; three sisters, Tuna Larice Bell of Georgia, Jemisha (Juan) Evans of Charleston and Jareissa Dawn (Devon) Owens of Sikeston.

Linard worked for Texas Roadhouse for many years.  He loved to Barbecue, fish, play on his Xbox and PS5 with his children. Linard loved to party.

Linard Thomas married Alicia Verner, January 16, 2013, in Charleston.

Linard leaves back two daughters, Mauresha (Philip) Turner of Charleston and Marquavia Corbitt of Cape Girardeau; two sons, Lindarreis Thomas and Linard Thomas Jr., of Cape Girardeau; one stepdaughter, Lataysha McCauley; two stepsons, Marshuntis Corbitt and Marqueas Corbitt of Cape Girardeau; two grandchildren, two step grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.

Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. until the funeral hour at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, July 20, 2024, at the United Methodist Church, 1700 East Marshall Street, in Charleston, MO.    Rev, Lavern Frazier will officiate.

Interment will immediately follow in the Oak Grove Cemetery near Charleston under the direction of the McMikle Funeral Home of Charleston.
