Linda Diane Harris

Linda Diane Harris, age 80, of Charleston, MO, died Saturday, October 25, 2025, at the Hunter Acres Caring Center in Sikeston, MO.

Born July 19, 1945, at Ottumwa, IA, to the late Hubert Francis Miller and Clara Helen Kirkpatrick Miller, she had lived in Mississippi County most of her entire life and was of Baptist belief.

On December 28, 1963, she married James Mack Harris, Sr., who preceded her in death December 11, 2024.

Surviving is her son, James M. Harris, Jr., two grandchildren, Brandon Harris and Jamie Moss; and a number of nieces, nephews and cousins.

In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Diane Lynn Harris and her brothers, Harold Lemar Miller, Lester Raymond Miller and Larry Dean Miller and her sister, Iris Nadine Fountain.

Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. until the funeral hour at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, October 29, 2025, at the McMikle Funeral Home in Charleston.  Her nephew, Sam Bowles, will officiate.

Interment will follow in the I.O.O.F. Cemetery under the direction of the McMikle Funeral Home of Charleston.

Pallbearers will be Frankie Allen, Lil Bill Harris, Matthew Bowles, Robert Harris, Bud Bowles and Billy Suggs.
