Obituary
LINDA LAVERNE NORTHERN HEPPE, Age 74, a resident of Bertrand, died Friday, March 17, 2017, at the Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston.
Born February 6, 1943, in Mississippi County, MO, to the late Leslie and Flora Lee Swinney Northern, she had lived in Bertrand most of her life and was of the Baptist Belief.
In May 1958, she married Charles Edward Heppe, Sr., and he survives of the home in Bertrand.
Also surviving are three sons, Charles Edward "Bub" (Robin) Heppe, Jr.; Frank Heppe of New Hampshire and Gary Heppe of Bertrand; three daughters, Barbara (Herman) Matney, Donna Heppe and Evelyn VanWinkle all of Bertrand; 13 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren and one great great grandchild on the way.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by one daughter, Alice Jones; one great grandson, Jamie Wilkerson; three brothers, Robert "Gene" Northern, Jerry Northern and Leslie Northern, Jr.; two sisters, Leoma Dean and Louise Wright; and one infant brother and one infant sister.
Private family services will be held at a later date.
The family will receive friends at the family home at 205 Ash St., Bertrand, MO
McMikle Funeral Home of Charleston is in charge of arrangements.
