LINDA JEAN JONES PARR, age 74, a resident of Bertrand, died Monday, August 31, 2020, at the home of her daughter in Charleston.

Born December 8, 1945, at Bertrand, to the late James Andrew 'Doc' Jones and Eva Jewell Denning Jones, she had lived in Bertrand most of her life and had worked as a manager for The Fisherman's Net, Reeves Boomland and Express Fuel.

On April 7, 1971, she married Edward Raymond "Eddie Ray" Parr, who preceded her in death on January 18, 1993.

Surviving are her three daughters, Dana Finley of Kevil, KY; Amy (Brandon) Manning of Bertrand and Tracy (Kyle) Johnson of Charleston; two sisters, Wanda Byrd of Bertrand and Anita Riddle of Dexter; eight grandchildren, Bethany (Zachary) Lichliter of Cape Girardeau; Shelby Finley of Kansas City, MO; Stacia (Miller) Williams of Conway, AR; Lee Edward (Ashley) Finley of Lone Oak, KY; Haley Manning of Little Rock, AR and Aydan, Lilly and Kylianne Johnson of Charleston; four great grandchildren, Kenadie and Elijah Lichliter and Lee and Makenna Finley; also a number of nieces and nephews.

In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by her son-in-law, Lee Finley; her brother Jimmy Jones and her sister, Pansy Terrell; her sister Marie Crumley passed away one day later on September 1, 2020.

Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. until the funeral hour at 1:00 p.m., Thursday, September 3, 2020, at the McMikle Funeral Home in Charleston.  Rev. George Nite, pastor of the First Baptist Church of Church of Charleston, will officiate.

Interment will follow at the Oak Grove Cemetery near Charleston under the direction of the McMikle Funeral Home.

Pallbearers will be: Kyle Johnson, Aydan Johnson, Lee Edward Finley, Zachary Lichliter, Brandon Manning and Miller Williams.
