LISA MICHELLE CHESSOR, Age 40, a resident of East Prairie, died at 2:30 a.m., Sunday, December 19, 2010 at the Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston.
Born April 3, 1970, at Sikeston, MO to Margie Peterson Abbott who survives of East Prairie and the late Ernest Brown Chessor, she had lived in St. Louis for several years and returned to East Prairie in 2006 where she had lived most of her life.
For 20 years she shared her life with Manda L. Guthrie and on July 9, 2010, they were married. She survives of the home in East Prairie.
Surviving besides her mother is: one son, Blake Guthrie of East Prairie; one sister, Tracy Abbott of East Prairie; her stepfather, Carl Crosier of East Prairie, a number of nieces and nephews and a host of friends.
Lisa was a loving individual that lit up the room with her smile. She touched so many lives in so many different ways and she will be greatly missed.
Visitation will be from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Tuesday, December 21, 2010 at the McMikle Funeral Home in Charleston where Funeral Services will be conducted at 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, December 22, 2010. Rev. Gerald Penn, pastor of the First Assembly of God Church in Charleston, will officiate.
Cremation will follow.
