Lloyd Alvie Pratt, 78, died Oct. 3, 2015 in Sikeston. He was born September 27, 1937 in New Madrid County to the late Bill and Jessie B. (Gray) Pratt. He lived in Missouri until joining the Navy in 1955 and then lived in California before moving back to Missouri in 1969. After serving in the U.S. Navy he was a long-haul, coast to coast truck driver for many years. He was married to Hazel Jeanette Clayton Dec. 7, 1968 in Las Vegas and she preceded him in death March 16, 2006. Graveside funeral services will be held at 11:00 am Wednesday, Oct. 14, at the Missouri State Veterans Cemetery in Bloomfield with Rev. DeWayne Coleman, pastor of Canalou Baptist Church officiating. Burial with full military honors will follow under the direction of Blanchard Funeral Chapel.
