Lloyd Andrew Willis

Lloyd Andrew Willis, age 76, of Granite City, IL, died Tuesday, March 14, 2023, at the St. Louis University Hospital in St. Louis, MO.

He was born September 14, 1946, at St. Louis, MO, to the late Elmer LaWayne Willis and Viola Olive Crabb.   Lloyd grew up and lived most of his life in St. Louis, MO, but had lived in Granite City, IL the last 17 years.  He was a member of the Rivers of Life Christian Church and was a Master Mason.

On August 16, 1969, he married Brenda Dianne Greer, who survives of the home.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by his daughter, Tracy Lynn Willis and her husband, James Kelso of Granite City, IL; his son, David Andrew Willis and his wife, Joanne of Granite City, IL; 13 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren; as well as a number of nieces, nephews and cousins.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Francis LaWayne Willis, Neal Eugene Willis; and his sister, Geneva June Wienhoff.

Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. until time for the masonic service as 11:30 a.m., Friday, March 24, 2023, at the McMikle Funeral Home.  Funeral Services will follow at noon Friday in the McMikle Chapel.

Interment will follow in the East Prairie Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of the McMikle Funeral Home of Charleston.
