LOIS CLARA ONETA WORLEY ST. CIN, Age 91, a resident of Charleston, died Tuesday, February 23, 2010 at the home of her daughter and son in law in Charleston.
Born May 25, 1918 at Newport, Arkansas to the late Silas Brady and Martha Ellen "Mattie" O'Daniel Worley, she had lived in Mississippi County most of her life. Her family was the love of her life, especially her grandchildren and she had a special place in her heart for dogs and animals of all kinds. She was of Pentecostal Belief.
On December 22, 1941, she married Herbert St. Cin, who preceded her in death on January 4, 1978.
Surviving are: four daughters and three sons in law, Jo and Warren Palmer of Charleston; Brenda Cohen of Vanduser; Jan and Daniel Pulliam of Essex and Ann and Robert Tidwell of Canalou; one stepson and one step-daughter in law, Earl and Betty St. Cin of Micanopy, FL; one step daughter, Freda Smith of Charleston; one sister in law, Eileen Worley of Lamar, MO; also a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and many friends.
She was preceded in death by one step- son, Ralph St. Cin, one step-daughter, Julia St. Cin Butler and a brother, Melvin Worley.
Friends may call from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.,Wednesday, February 24, 2010 at the McMikle Funeral Home in Charleston where funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 p.m., Thursday, February 25, 2010. Rick Breeden, pastor of the Essex Apostolic Church in Essex, will officiate.
Interment will follow in the Dogwood Cemetery under the direction of the McMikle Funeral Home in Charleston.
Pallbearers will be: Reese Palmer, Todd Palmer, David St. Cin, Michael McWhirter, Zachary Breeden, Robert Buttry, Dustin Tidwell and Michael McWhirter, Jr.
