LOUISE "TRIXIE" SMITH, age 92, a resident of Wyatt died Thursday, November 7, 2013, at the Charleston Manor.

She was born June 22, 1921 in Tennessee to the late J.W. and Zora Stinnett Magee. She had lived in Southeast Missouri most of her life where she worked as a farm laborer and was a member of the Pentecostal Church in Cairo, IL.

In 1940 she married William Junior Smith who preceded her in death.

Surviving are three sons and daughters in law, James and Betty Smith of Wyatt, Donald and Pauline Smith of Wyatt, and Roy and Barbara Smith of Charleston; one daughter, Becky Manning of Bethalto, IL;one daughter in law, Faye Smith of Bardwell, KY; also 23 grandchildren, 51 great grandchildren, and 7 great great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by one son, Robert Smith, one grandson, Randy Smith, one son in law, Richard Manning and three brothers, Vernon Magee, Lewis Magee, and Harold Magee.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 until 8:00 p.m. on Sunday, November 10, 2013 at the McMikle Funeral Home in Charleston where Funeral Services will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, November 11, 2013. Rev. Dean Wallace, pastor of the Wyatt Baptist Church, will officiate.

Interment will follow in the Armer Cemetery under the direction of McMikle Funeral Home.

Pallbearers will be Billy Upchurch, Steve Upchurch, James William Smith Jr., Terry Michael Clifton, Roy Eugene Smith Jr., and Jordan Hileman.
