D. LOWELL NALLY, age 80, of rural Charleston, died Tuesday, December 29, 2020, at Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston.

Born January 17, 1940, at Collinsville, IL, to the late W.R. Nally and Doris Nell Campbell Nally, he had lived in Mississippi County most of his life where he was engaged in farming until his retirement.  He was a member of the I.O.O.F Lodge of Charleston a number of years, the Mississippi County Farm Bureau and the Southside Baptist Church of Charleston.

On December 31, 1960, he married Joan Jenkins, who survives of the home.

Also surviving are his children, Robyn Nally of Monroe, LA and long time family friend, Becky Boyte; Kevin S. (Jonell) Nally of Charleston and April Lynn Nally of rural Charleston; his brother, Charles Nally of Monticello, AR; his grandchildren, Michael, Mary Kate, Ben, Madelyn, Lucas and Abbie; also, several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, L. Keith Nally; his brother, Robert Nally and his sister, Carol Ann Butler.

Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. until the funeral hour at 1:00 p.m., Thursday, December 31, 2020, at McMikle Funeral Home in Charleston.  Rev. Mike McKinney, pastor of the Southside Baptist Church of Charleston, will officiate.

Interment will follow in the I.O.O.F. Cemetery near Charleston under the direction of the McMikle Funeral Home.

Pallbearers will be his grandchildren along with Cody Jones and Cole McDermott.
